Family Medicine Residency

Curriculum

*            Denotes on-call blocks. Each block is four weeks. There are 13 blocks per academic year. There are three Ambulatory blocks which cover Dermatology, Psychiatry, Spine Clinic, Dermatology, Occupational, Environmental Medicine, Neurology, Endocrine, Dermatology, Rheumatology and Hematology / Oncology.  Surgical subspecialties include Urology, ENT, and Ophthalmology. Elective is to be within the area of the hospital with Family Care Clinic days assigned. Away Elective is free of Family Care Clinic obligation. PGY1 residents have one to two continuity clinics per week. PGY2 residents have two to three clinics per week. PGY3 residents have three to four clinics per week.
