Application

The following are general information and requirements regarding the application process:

 

The Family Practice Residency Program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) from the Association of American Medical Colleges.  Written applications are no longer accepted.  You could find more information about the ERAS at

First year residents are selected through the National Internship Residency Matching Program (NRMP). All incoming first year residents must have passed USMLE Step I or equivalent.

 

For applicants currently attending medical school, a passing USMLE Step I, or passing NBOME score, by the second attempt is required.

 

For applicants who have already graduated from medical school, passing USMLE Step I and USMLE Step II scores, or passing NBOME score, by the second attempt is required.

 

Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents of the United States.

 

In order to make the best use of the applicant’s time while visiting our program, it is necessary to limit interviews and tours to specified, pre-scheduled appointments.  If invited, you will be notified via email and a scheduled date and time will be arranged with you.  Please make sure that your email address on the ERAS system is up-to-date.
